THE MIDNIGHT GARDENERS

A garden pixie and her lady bird are on a mission to paint the world in colour, one healthy garden at a time. With a special blend of two moth wings to bring rain, light from a firefly and manure, the green-thumbed duo fly over terraces, balconies and front stoops, planting buds that sprout overnight and spreading joy. in my children's picture book, suitable for ages 4 to 8!

The illustration was painted traditionally using mixed-medium painted paper collage, watercolours, acrylic gouache, oil pastels and coloured pencils. The character study was painted traditionally using gouache, coloured pencils and oil pastels on cold-pressed watercolour paper.
